Sightings report image

Date: 05/03/2012

Number: 1

This afternoon May 3, 2012 a storm was brewing to the southwest. It had been unseasonably warm and breezy. By 3:30pm the freeze breeze from Lake Michigan push the storm away but dropped the temp. about a half hour or so we saw a couple of monarch then some. They were looking for a place to roost overnight. We estimate around 100 plus. Its to early for them the milkweed is still to little and flowers for nectar scarce.
