Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 05/02/2012

Number: 1

Carol and I are docents every Friday at the Desert Botanical Garden. Today she shared this photo from 05/02/12 of a monarch visiting her yard this week.Carol said this one was tagged - but she couldn't read the number. But when I zoomed in the photo, we can see this is a female monarch laying eggs on Desert Milkweed, Asclepias subulata.
