All Other Signs of Spring

My grandfather died 5/3/12, so I decided the next day to go outside for a walk. I noticed a few on my deck, then in the front. My whole drive there were hundreds flying in the air, roadways, I went about 15 miles to the Manasquan reservoir and they were everywhere. The 5 mile walk was so surreal they flew towards me in the brush they were all over. I felt like it was a sign. I have never in my 4 yrs seen so many butterfiles. I think I saw more yest than I saw in my whole life. It was just breath-taking and beautiful. They made me feel like my gpa was flying free with them. They made me get through the day. It was such a beautiful thing to see.
