First Red Admiral butterfly (had seen a couple cabbage whites prior to this)... there were 4-5 dozen in my crabapple tree and other people seeing them around town, too. Cooled down, but when warmed up again this week (5/4), they were back again by the dozens. Picture taken 5/4/12 on neighbor's lilac.
