Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/04/2012

Number: 1

two hummingbirds sighted, very protective over their feeder stations and very much drinking nectar. No flowers are open yet, lilacs neither. The crab apple trees bloomed too early this spring given the warm weather and are already done. So right now, the nectar is very important.
