I first saw and heard the song of an oriole along the path by the Grand River. I whistled back to him and he followed me for quite a ways on my walk. Since then I have put out my cut up orange in the feeder in my backyard, and a male and female frequent the feeder all day. They are so beautiful. I love that they return every year.
