After the first appearance, I had numerous eggs on my milkweed plants. The caterpillars grew quickly and I found 12 chrysalis in and around my porch. All have changed to butterflies this past week. In fact the last chrysalis just opened 5 minutes ago! Last season I had Monarchs through December.My grandsons are coming to visit this summer and they are looking forward to watching the various stages of the Monarchs.I think it is a miracle of nature to witness and will always fascinate me..
