The first 3 of the eggs we found in early April have emerged as butterflies! We released them on a sunny, breezy day. On 5/5/12, 28 more butterflies emerged! On the 7th we released them to go find food and make their way in the world! Just before the release, I saw a female laying eggs in our milkweed. I wonder if it was one of the 3 we released earlier??? I think we are going to start all over again! :)
