Seven to eight males & one female arrived on 2 May 2012 five to six days early ; related to our past eighteen years of ober.history;; Four to five females arv. 3&4 May 2012; and will stay for the rest of season!! Note " we are 600 yds south of Lake Onterio & this becomes their base for nesting season for aprox ( 90 ) days and will use two gals of Nectar ( seven feeders) and aprox Two dozen Oranges for the season;; Topped off by : Suet : on demand for desert if required !! WE look forward to our back yard viewing of 15 to 20 species and the varied bird calls with min to zero road noise !!!
