The first pair of rose breasted grosbeaks came today; May 3rd.
We generally get 3 pairs feeding at the feeders each spring.
They love the safflower seeds.

I thought I would send a pic of the
gold finch that have been around for the last month in large numbers...
2 groups of about 15-20 in each flock.
There is also a small flock of house finch and I have attached a
pic of a group of the females feeding. we generally have a pair around
the house, but this is a 'first' for so many house finch at a time.
