So exciting! I went to the barn around 8:30 p.m. to give the horse her bedtime snack and glanced up at the old nest in the very middle of my barn muttering to myself,"I wonder when you will be back." It was quite dark but there was no mistaking those tail feathers. I had been leaving both barn doors open for the past week awaiting the return of my barn swallows.
