All Other Signs of Spring

I was driving South on I-25 outside Albuquerque, NM at 9:40 AM at 05/09/12 when I started seeing a large number of Monarch butterflies heading North. By the time I reached the Broadway/Isleta exit I was encountering thousands of the butterflies. It disturbed me how many were hitting my windshield, so I pulled off and watched them swarming by for about 10 minutes. By then they began to clear out (or get past my location), so I continued on my way to Peralta, NM. I see on your maps that it's possible to see Monarchs migrating up out of Mexico, heading North this time of year. It was quite a sight to behold! I'm sorry I didn't have my better camera with me. My cell phone camera just couldn't capture the magnitude of it.
