There has been an overwhelming hatch of Cicadas this year. We've taken pictures of them hatching. We live in an area that is mostly wooded around us on 25 acres and the sound is incredible! Some are flying, some trying, some born wingless (defect). If we drive around the countryside they seem to be in damp locations.
