I observed about 20 robust monarchs at the Mitchell Lake Audubon Center just south of San Antonio, Texas. They were nectaring on a blue flower that, unfortunately, I cannot remember the name. I was very surprised to see them as I thought that they had all passed through this area and were well up to the north. The were absolutely beautiful to see.
