We have several robins, including some that are nesting in the many tall trees near our home, this spring. One robin that we observed today has chosen a patch of new grass where my husband had planted grass seed earlier to pull up by the mouthfuls in gathering materials for her nest. My husband good naturedly said he would buy another bag of grass seed to replant when the robin finishes her nest. We love our birds!!
