First Monarch in Atikokan May 19 . Very early and milkweed has not even started to grow. Several since. In the Rainy River area yesterday, May 21, Michael Dawber saw them in abundance – likely about 50 plus during a day of birding. Very early arrivals and unprecedented numbers.
