Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/20/2012

Number: 1

Yesterday and today (May 20 and 21), we had a Monarch fly though our backyard. This is the earliest by far that I can remember seeing one. We get them every year, as there is a bit of milkweed along the road in front of our house. However, it may be a while before they can lay eggs, as the milkweed hasn't shown its first shoots yet.
