We were so surprised and excited when we saw our first monarch of the 2012 season sitting on a dandilion in our rural property.
As a red squirrel dashed into our perennial garden, out fluttered 3 more monarchs!!! They are feeding on our giant Alliums along with the bees! Milkweed just starting here. Looks like it will be an amazing season for this sweet butterfy and its admirers!
