I read about this very northern monarch sighting in Quebec, and wondered if it was reliable:

I was reassured by Maxime L of eButterfly.ca that:
“Yes, Louis is top-notch. He is an ecology prof at the University up there.

I don't think Milkweed actually grows up in Abitibi (region). Now here is a place where putting milkweed gardens would be a great idea to facilitate the range expansion of the Monarch further north.
