Finally! I have had two hummer feeders out since April 1st, changing them every 1-2 days but unable to really observe due to 'life getting in the way' but this morning was the charm! No binoculars but observations were from less than 10 feet away of a very energetic female (or possibly but don't think so, a very young male) arrived at a just changed feeder at 10:20am (June 4, 2012). I had a few moments so I waited to see if another visit might happen and there it was at 11:12am. Good luck to all of the hummer lovers out there in seeing those happy little sprites even if it takes some waiting...
