First monarch observed spending any time at Adams Farm; two others did a fly by northward earlier in May, one stopping in the butterfly garden. This one was flying from milkweed plant to milkweed plant. It was interesting to see the detection of milkweed by the butterfly as it apparently caught its scent in the breeze, turning 180 degrees, flying to the plants and alighting on them. No sign of eggs or larva since.
