I just had my first ever oriole sighting. I'm certainly not an ornithologist, but I do appreciate nature, and can identify many, if not most, birds that I see. Excited to see this new orange and black bird flitting around my back yard, I did an online search and found images that match this bird to a tee... the 'Baltimore' oriole. It was flying from branch to branch of my wooded lot, not remaining in any one place but for a few moments.
I hope this sighting is helpful to your endeavours.
Sincerely,
