Astonishing! Mating monarchs on Sunday (6/17), egg laying yesterday, and two monarchs still in the yard. Our temperatures are reaching 112. Never saw anything like this so late in our "monarch season". I continue to have monarchs in my yard in some form ever since they first arrived on their fall migration the first week of September 2011. I've had hundreds eclose.
