Came back from vacation noticed a few milkweed plants, totally devoured meaning some chrysalis's have arrived started turning leaves,lo and behold there they were a total of seven, looked around at other milkweed patches saw more larva some at first instar,some at third good and thick soon to become more chrysalis's I was on vacation these past 2 weeks up at Gimli 40 mins. north of Winnipeg the neighbors lilac was in full bloom and there were lots of Monarchs even got to see a Viceroy. Ya know this has to happen but never got to see it before,it looked like a couple of Monarch's were mating,the wonders of nature thats all for now Monarch Lovers
