Laying eggs on Asclepias Incarnata an hour after a severe thunderstorm with strong winds and hail This is later than usual. I saw other reports from NS much earlier. It was so strange to see my first monarch an hour after a strong thunderstorm with hail and really strong winds. I have seen a monarch around the garden several times since
