I was very surprised to see my first monarch today. It was about 6:30 p.m. and I was out working in my garden. I was thinkingit wasn't until Aug.of last year when I saw my first, perhaps I'm wrong. I sure have a nice crop of milkweed this year.I often wonder what people think as they drive by when they see it all. I think probably they think I'm a bit crazy not to be pulling it up.
