We finally saw out first monarch on 7/1. The milkweed is in full bloom (today's date 7/9) and we have seen 6 or or so, nectaring in them and the buddleia, coneflowers, etc. We are a certified monarch waystation, so we were very anxious for their arrival, since they have arrived in other areas earlier than usual this year.
