Monarch bliss photo. This female has been laying eggs on my milkweed garden daily for 3 weeks. The male has been pursing her for a week.
I caught them together this morning with my zoom lens as they held on to each other and the Japanese maple leaf for over half an hour and then flew off across the street, still holding each other.
