Sunny to P/C at 10:30 a.m. after days of overcast and rainy conditions. Warming to hot day. Adult feeding on purple Butterfly bush (Buddleia). Only one measly milkweed plant in my yard since plants are not native to the MS River alluvium and there are none in the immediate area which is suburban on the outskirts of town that edges on large agricultural fields. Might be just passing through. I am a gardener in a private home, not a teacher.
