Good morning fellow birders,Hot,Hot,Hot!Some of my plants have sucumbed to the heat. The red-twig and one of the blueberries.I will try again next spring.I think the robins are scrambling to find food.A lot of birds come to the feeders as they are a bit desperate around here.I have water out in five places and freshen them every morning. There are jbird,h&ch sparrows, cardinals,wb nuthatches,mn doves, downeys, cline wrens,cd waxwings, barn swallows ,coopers, catbirds,yl warblers, killdeer, ckadees,n flickers, red bellies,crows,grackles,and(flying-rat)starlings.Strange,I've seen more carolina wrens this year.Hummers are still here.Males and females, even a new little one. It's still trying to figure out how to use the feeders.Hope for rain as hope is the thing that keeps the human race moving foward.
