Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/28/2012

Number: 1

It was my Mother's 90th birthday yesterday 28 july 2012! I wandered out to my butterfly gardens to give thanks that she is doing well.
I noticed that all my milkweed was looking chewed up. For good reason....I have monarch caterpillars...all different sizes, and everywhere. They are on the common milkweed, the tuberosa (butterfly weed), and the marsh milkweed.
Everything looks perfect for healthy happy Monarchs here at Neptune NJ. I am a very satisfied Monarch caretaker!
