Hummingbird, Other Species Sighted

Date: 07/29/2012

Number: 1

Status quo in my garden at the end of July: As in previous years, the male rufous have left for mountain meadows and southern climes. But we still have quite a few female and juvenal males (who will probably stay until September). With the departure of the male rufous, both female and male Anna's are moving back in. They will, hopefully, once again stay all winter long. (I'll keep the feeders filled.)
