Today is the 31st of July. I bought 2 more MW plants (in San Juan Capistrano, 2 days ago. While at the nursery I also saw at the least 10 Monarchs landing all over the plants at the nursery. So today the 31st, my little butterfly has come back and laid so many more eggs. I watched her deposit a few on a lower leaf. She has been here all day.
I also have been observing the many many many eggs that have hatched and now they are crawling all over the plants. Resting and eating. The biggest one is about 3 cm. its just so fun to be a part of this miracle. Now All I hope for is they find a place to crawl to and hatch into butterflies. I think the bird of paradise might be a good place. ?
