I have had several female monarch's emerge from my milweek - about 10 or so since June. I have a Chrysallis on my screen porch, and several catepillars on milkweed also on my screen porch. The females return to the milweed that is planted outside daily around 1:30 pm to lay eggs and drink fr nectar flowers. I bring small catepillars in on screen porch. Notice wasps like to eat catepillars.
