Larva numbers have been down this past summer. I had one on June 14 that emerged on June 24. That was all I could find on about 5 spread out acres in the area. Finally, I have found 8 larva that I have collected August 7 to August 14. These I will raise for my monarch presentation on August 25 at Harrisville State Park. The children will help me tag them for Monarch Watch.org.
