Yesterday I had two monarchs emerge from their chrysalis. Have three that look like they will emerge today. Still have a dozen or so more chrysalis in the yard. A few weeks ago had over 40 caterpillars, but could only find about 20 chrysalis. On the East Side of Ventura where I walk my dog I see at least five floating around during the walk. Had one float right into my face. Pretty neat. Not too many visiting at my house right now since all the milkweed was eaten down by the last batch of caterpillars. My milkweed plants are just now starting to regrow leaves.
