Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/15/2012

Number: 1

I observed a very brightly colored female flitting in my garden. THEN, as I watched , she deposited eggs on the underside of my milkweed. I collected 4 eggs, a first instar, 2nd instar and 4th instar catepillar and will raise them in preparation for the school. I just took a 2 day course with the Monarch Teachers Network and ordered tags for the adult releases.
