Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 08/14/2012

Number: 1

we have been seeing Monarchs in our garden for over a month now..had loads of caterpillars but some of them had that OE disease or we think so..I had brought some of the fat cats into the house but when they were attempting to change into a chrysalis, they went mushy or just died..so I phoned to a MOnarch expert and we decided that it was best to destroy the rest of those caterpillars..but every day we see at least two or more Monarchs and I actually watched one lay some eggs last week..when I checked hours later, they were gone..but I noticed a teeny cat yesterday and I am leaving it alone to fend for itself..sigh..anyways, lots of MOnarchs have been seen along our road and it seems a better year than last year..cheers, Judy
