Sunday I saw three monarchs in my butterfly garden. A female with a tattered wing was eating at the milkweed plants and the butterfly bushes. Every once in a while another monarch would interrupt her and they would circle together in the air. I saw one monarch the day before. I wonder how this drought will effect the monarchs.
