Continue to see various numbers of monarchs feeding on butterfly plants in backyard garden. Observations have not been made daily but only ceased for a month or so early in the year. Wasps feed regularly on eggs; predation usually stops by November and eggs begin to hatch.
We've had monarchs visiting during the summer months. It's been sporadic but we've seen at least 2 or 3 per week. I saw 1 this morning (8/21) in the milkweed around our backyard fish pond.
