Three birds were flying around my front yard this morning. I have 7 feeders up and a number of flowers still blossoming even with the July heat wave and drought. They still chase each other. The feeder outside my living room window is a foot from my face as I sit on the sofa. This morning I am convinced I saw a male Black Chinned Hummingbird. I know he is not supposed to be here. He was small, black hood, white collar around his neck, white spot by his eye. I saw him several times.
