large male monarch passed through this afternoon.

I've had monarchs all summer. I never had a whole bunch of monarchs here at once, but every few days one would show up.



Looking back, monarchs showed up earlier (by a couple of weeks on 3/13/12) compared to the year before & then around the end of March until the end of April, none were sighted.
After that I’ve seen them pretty regular.

We’ve got 5 acres, that I’m working on to cover it in nectar plants & milkweed,lol.
