A female first sighted 8/17 began immediately depositing eggs. The temps here have been over 103 but it didn't stop her. She stayed until yesterday 8/22 (I might have missed her). Hatchling caterpillars are now munching away. I am surprised my potted plants held her interest over the in-ground plants.
