Last winter's 3rd largest California overwintering site
This wintering site is known as Ventura's Harbour Boulevard site. It was the 3rd largest site last winter, and was one of only 5 sites that had more than 10,000 monarchs.
Last winter's count (2011/2012): 16,500 monarchs
Previous winter's count (2010/2011): 1,700 monarchs
