AMAZING number of females/young! 2 weeks ago, we had to put up a larger 6-port feeder because we were filling our usual 3-port feeder twice a day! Have NEVER seen this many hummers -- and as many as 4 have perched and fed at one time. That is also a first for us. Perhaps it's due to our drought -- not enough flowers = not as much nectar? We are occasionally seeing a male. Not as often -- and not as high in number -- as the females. What an amazing month it's been!
