Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/22/2012

Number: 1

Haven't seen many caterpillars lately, but did see one on August 22. I had previously seen three in the garden area, and that's where this one was. It was crawling on weeds, so I'm thinking it was looking for a place to molt or to become a chrysalis (might have been a 4th instar)
Other than that, have seen maybe six different caterpillars in the last week; and saw one adult monarch down by the garden yesterday--didn't get close enough to be sure, but I believe it was a new one.
