There have been several hummers (Ruby Throat) coming to my feeders this past week, maybe even as far back as the being of August. The local hummers are getting fat for their trip and will probably be gone from my yard by the first week in September. Then in October the hummers further up the coastline will start showing up, get fat, and then be gone by the first of November.
