Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/23/2012

Number: 1

After school I was out near a corn field searching for Monarch eggs in a patch of milkweed and saw one adult monarch flying south. I didn't find a single egg as the milkweed is drying out and yellow because of our lack of rain. Very hot air was blowing in from the south and it was very windy.
