I am a member of a group of volunteers that are participating in hummingbird monitoring study. We have several groups in BC and one in Rossland. Our last session was two weeks ago. However I continue seeing hummingbirds at my feeder daily - they go through 1/2 a cup of food every other day. They are all imatures getting ready to migrate and they feed on the flowers and at the feeder on my porch. It is quite entertaining to watch them figure out the feeder.I Rossland we get Calliope, Rufous and Blackchin and I see all these babies geeting ready to go south.
