i was gone most the summer but I put feeders up on the 20th and by today i was counting at least 15 feeding , fighting, perching,dive bombing etc.. i set up a new wind chime made of colored glass. I had to take it down because the hummers kept trying to feed at it. Proof again to me that hummers like color. So I will keep dying the water red despite the trend of thinking dye is harmful (with no evidence to support it).
